Dawn Torres brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as the Front Office Manager at Communicating Above Barriers. Having lived in Miami for 32 years and Central Florida for 12 years, Dawn has a rich background in both regions. She spent 26 years working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Volusia County Public Schools, primarily in the financial sector.
In 2017, Dawn returned to school and earned her Certified Professional Biller (CPB) and Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A) certifications from the American Academy of Professional Coders. She then worked for an ABA billing company for 5 ½ years, where she excelled as a department supervisor overseeing benefits, authorizations, and billing.
Married for 31 years, Dawn is a proud mother of three grown sons and a grandmother to a grandson and granddaughter. Her extensive experience and professional certifications make her an invaluable asset to our team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our front office. Dawn is committed to providing exceptional service and support to our clients and staff, contributing to the overall success of Communicating Above Barriers.
