Pediatric Speech Therapy in Florida
At Communicating Above Barriers, we provide pediatric speech and language therapy designed to help children communicate more clearly, confidently, and effectively. Our therapy focuses on meeting each child where they are while building meaningful communication skills that carry over into everyday life — at home, in school, and in the community. Whether your child is difficult to understand, struggling to express their thoughts, having trouble following directions, or needs support with social communication, our team is here to help.

How Therapy Helps
Practical Speech Therapy for Everyday Communication
Speech therapy can address a wide range of communication needs, from speech clarity and language development to fluency, social interaction, and classroom participation. After identifying your child’s specific strengths and areas of difficulty, we create therapy goals that are practical, measurable, and focused on helping your child communicate more successfully in daily routines.
Our goal is to make therapy practical and useful beyond the session itself. We work to build skills that support everyday communication, helping children participate more confidently in conversations, classroom activities, play, and daily routines.
Therapy During the School Day or After School:
For children attending select Bloom Academy or Evolving Minds locations where Communicating Above Barriers provides services, speech therapy may be available during the school day or after school, depending on scheduling and availability. This can help families fit therapy into the child’s routine without adding another separate appointment after pickup.
